MEASUREMENTS THAT MATTER

LIE

The distance the scoop “lies” from the center axis of the shaft.

SWEET SPOT

The particular position on the bottom rail of a lacrosse head that is the furthest distance from the center axis of the shaft. The Sweet Spot sits at the vertex – the point of the bottom rail that stops curving down from the center axis of the shaft – and begins to curve back up towards the center point of reference.

TRAVEL

The distance the ball has to move to be released from the head when using the sweet spot as a starting point.

Zone 1 Low Pocket

Designed for the elite lacrosse players – the Z-ONE was engineered to have a zone 1 pocket location. This is the lowest zone, and designed for the ball to sit at the lowest point of the head, giving you the most control.

Knot Lock Tech​

Epoch’s new Knot Lock Tech is engineered specifically for stringers. Knot Lock Tech is featured in the sidewall holes, designed with unique grooves that help support and anchor sidewall knots. Giving you a more consistent pocket and ideal channel.
