The winner of the 2019 Dave Pietramala Defensive Player of the Year, Neumann was one the PLL's breakout stars in 2019. Leading Chaos LC to a dominant regular season, Neumann emerged as a sensational transitional player, often scoring numerous two-pointers for Andy Towers' team. Neumann is a Northampton, Massachusetts native where he attended Northampton High School / Bridgton Academy. While playing at the University of Providence, Neumann was the 2017 Big East Defensive Player of the Year, a 3x First Team All-Big East, a USILA All-American and a USILA Academic All-American.
Neumann enjoys golfing, fishing, hiking, boating, photography, history and is a hot sauce enthusiast. Neumann was selected to the 2019 PLL All-Star Game. Neumann listed Tesla, Aristotle, and Achilles and the three historical figures he'd most want to meet. Neumann followed his stellar 2019 campaign with several notable performances during the PLL Championship Series in 2020. Despite going 0-4 in group play, the Neumann-led Chaos ripped off back-to-back playoff victories en route to a berth in the Championship Game. Neumann was ever-present at the back and finished the 2020 tournament with 16 ground balls and seven caused turnovers.
